Matik for CS Ops, RevOps and Sales Ops

Build the foundation your customer team can trust.

Matik gives CS Ops, RevOps and Sales Ops one place to connect data sources, configure metrics and logic, and maintain approved templates that customer success and sales teams generate from. Operations owns the foundation; front-line teams create account-specific content from it.

Why Matik for Operations

Build the system once. Every team generates from it.

A shared foundation for the teams who create customer-facing content.

Define the metric behind the number.

Give customer-facing content a shared data foundation. Configure the query and calculation logic so teams work from the definitions you approve.

Make the approved starting point reusable.

Publish templates with shared content and account-specific conditions. Support different customer situations without rebuilding the entire presentation each time.

Let the front line generate for itself.

Give CS and sales teams the templates and inputs they need. Reduce the handoff that turns every customer presentation into another request to Ops.

Improve the system with evidence.

See how generated content is used and changed. Review proposed fixes and template improvements before Matik’s agents apply updates.

Who builds on this shared foundation?

Different Ops teams. A common standard.

Choose the recurring content your team owns. Keep data definitions and template logic reusable as you enable the teams who present it.

CS Ops

Build QBR, renewal and value-review templates. Give customer success teams an approved way to generate account-specific content.

RevOps

Define shared metrics across sales and customer success. Connect the data and rules behind consistent customer-facing content.

Sales Ops

Maintain approved pitch, business-case and proposal templates. Give reps a repeatable foundation they can tailor to the buyer.

How do Ops teams keep customer-facing numbers consistent?

Give every metric a defined source.

Connect the systems your teams already use and configure the queries and calculations behind the content. Matik fills the template from that shared logic, giving CS and sales an account-specific view based on the same approved definitions.

  • Connect CRM, warehouse, BI, spreadsheet and API sources.

  • Reuse configured text, tables, charts and images across templates.

  • Review AI-assisted query and content setup before applying it.

  • Identical source values and query inputs produce identical configured metrics.

Can one template fit different account situations?

Standardize the foundation. Adapt what each account sees.

Build templates from approved content and configure the rules that change what appears. Slide conditions, conditional content and loops support different account realities while your team maintains the data, logic and brand rules underneath.

  • Slide conditions include or remove slides using configured data rules.

  • Conditional content and loops tailor the output without duplicating the whole template.

  • Reuse published slides where appropriate; maintain and republish changes deliberately.

How do customer-facing teams generate without another Ops request?

Publish the setup. Let teams bring the context.

Admins publish the template and its required inputs. CSMs and reps choose the account and other details, then generate from Matik, Salesforce or a connected AI assistant. They can shape the narrative and edit the output without editing the underlying setup.

  • End users generate from published templates using required account and date inputs.

  • Narrative Agent uses the team’s guidance and account context to shape the story.

  • Native outputs and MCP generation use the user’s existing Matik access.

How do Ops teams maintain and improve the system?

Keep improving. Keep the final say.

Run a report to see what users changed in generated Google Slides decks. Matik groups those patterns into template recommendations with linked evidence. Its agents can inspect setup and generation logs, propose a fix and wait for your confirmation before making a change.

  • Template recommendations show repeated edits and the decks behind them.

  • Agents inspect configured content, source schemas and generation logs to propose changes.

  • Admins review and confirm updates before they are applied.

  • Usage and delivery reporting helps you assess the workflows your team runs.

FAQ

Questions before you build the foundation?

Who sets up the data and templates in Matik?

Admins configure the data sources, queries, content and template logic used by their teams. Matik AI can help create content, write and validate queries, and set up conditions. It describes proposed changes and waits for confirmation before applying them. End users generate from published templates without editing how the content is built.

See how data and templates are configured

Can one template support different account situations?

Yes. Matik’s slide conditions can include or remove slides using configured rules over account data. Conditional content selects the appropriate content, and slide loops repeat a slide for items such as products or regions. These capabilities let an approved template adapt to different accounts without requiring a separate template for each one.

Explore conditional templates

Are reused slides automatically synced after edits?

Published slides reused in Matik do not automatically sync with later edits to the original slide. Admins update and republish affected templates deliberately. Already-generated presentations remain separate, editable outputs.

How do we know which templates are working?

Matik provides usage data such as generations by template and user, failure rates and email engagement. Template Recommendations analyzes changes users make to generated Google Slides decks and links patterns to supporting decks. Admins can review those findings and approve a suggested update.

Does AI generate the metrics in Matik?

In data-driven Matik templates, configured source queries and calculation logic supply the metrics. Identical source values and query inputs produce identical configured metrics. Matik AI can help build the setup and adapt content or narrative, but proposed setup changes require admin confirmation. AI-written explanations can vary and need review.

Which data sources can operations teams connect?

Matik connects to CRM, warehouse, BI, spreadsheet and API sources, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Snowflake, Looker and Google Sheets. Admins configure the sources and queries behind each template. Some data connections can require the end user’s own login, and users request content through MCP with their own Matik permissions.

Where should CS Ops, RevOps or Sales Ops start?

Choose one recurring workflow, the template your team already uses and the data it needs. Define the account inputs, metrics and conditions; review the setup before publishing it to users. Start with a CS review, a shared value narrative or a sales business case, then extend the approved foundation as your team needs more content.
